This solid silver propelling pencil was assayed in London 1933. Baring the makers mark of Samson Mordan, it is a lovely item in full working order.
The cap is removable to replace the lead, and the handle twists to push the lead down to the tip.
It's condition can best be described as good with one or two dings in the shaft. The hallmarks are visible if slightly worn.
In total it weighs approximately 17g and is approximately 9.6cm long.
This would make a fabulous gift or an excellent addition to your own silver collection.
