Antique Solid Silver Grape Scissors 1938

1920 - 1940
Description

This is a lovely, ornate pair of solid sterling silver grape scissors.

Clearly hallmarked on the reverse of the cutting blade for Sheffield 1938 with the maker's mark of Israel Freeman & Son Ltd. There is a partial hallmark on the side of the other blade.

The decoration is lovely, with foxes running along fruiting vine handles culminating in a intricate hinge, with a further partial hallmark.

Length: 16cm
