The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.

They are plain, in the form of two circles standing on a circular base. Alongside the hallmarks is the registration number: RD402227. The silver is in excellent condition.
This is the original box, showing the silversmith's name and address. As can be seen from the photographs, the box is showing its age, with tearing to the silk where it covers one of the hinges, and damage to the outside of the lid. The box itself is sturdy and the hinge is solid.
