Sheffield 1922 Pair of Solid Silver Unusual Fox and Maltese Cross Preserve or Jam Spoons in Original Case.

Description

Sheffield 1922 pair of unusual English hallmarked solid silver preserve or jam spoons made and retailed by F.J. Ross and Sons of Winchester.

The stems terminate with a double struck figural fox to one, and a Maltese Cross to the other, over tear drop shaped bowls.

In the original fitted case, they are in very good condition. The case has one loose hinge which does not interfere with closure.

Weight-45 grams.

Size-6 inches long by 1.4 inches wide bowls.

A very nice pair of spoons, most suitable for preserves or sauces.
