Two Victorian 'South African Shilling' Brooches

1900 - 1920
Description

Two silver brooches comprising South African shillings (1 shilling from 1896 and 2½ shillings from 1897). The silver frames are hallmarked but difficult to read, possibly Chester 1900, and the style is certainly right for late Victorian.

The brooches measures 2.5cm and 3.5cm diameter.
