London 1873 Superb Solid Silver Bowl by Very Important Maker Robert Garrard.

London 1873 superb and unusual English hallmarked solid silver bowl by very important maker Robert Garrard, the crown warranted silversmith to Queen Victoria.

The bowl is hand shaped, with a chased and applied beautifully shaped gadroon edge.

Weight-650 grams, nearly 21 troy ounces, or almost 1.5 pounds!

Size-9.5 inches diameter by 1 inch high.

With very clear hallmarks and the Garrards retail marks for the London store.

A superior mid Victorian solid silver bowl, by a very important maker, in very good condition.

This is a piece that is rare to find. It is most beautiful as well as very functional.

With the rising cost of silver in this economy, it is also a prudent investment.
