Description

London 1802, lovely George III period English hallmarked solid silver sherry label or bottle ticket, made by a female silversmith, Elizabeth Morley. In the Georgian period, this was very unusual, as silversmithing was a male dominated occupation.

Having a cut cornered shape with thread edge, and original chain, this is a very nice example, and collectable due to the female maker.

A lovely label in very good condition with clear hallmarks, and over 200 years old!

Many solid silver and silver plate labels are in stock, which will make lovely presents or an acquisition for your own bar. Please give us your requirements.
