This “Art Deco 2.20 Carat Ruby & 1.63 Carat Old Cut Diamond Trilogy Ring, Circa 1935 ” found a buyer.

It was listed by Gatsby Jewellery Ltd. Sold pieces stay on Sellingantiques as a record of what has passed through, and the next one is rarely far away.

Description

The perfect pigeon blood red ruby flanked by a pair of high white old mine cut diamonds. Everything about this is class: the natural stones are all the perfect colour and are held by extraordinarily fine platinum double-claws. Although the gems are all a serious size, the ring itself is delicately made and sits nice and low to the finger. We can't through enough superlatives at this grade-A stunner.

Cut -The ruby is an oval cut. The diamonds are old mine / miner cuts.

Colour - Diamonds are G

Clarity - Diamonds are VS. The ruby has visible inclusion, but these do not effect the vibrancy of the stone.

Carat - The ruby is 2.20 carat, the total diamond weight is 1.63

Circa - 1935.

Condition - Excellent.

Size - P (UK) or 7.5 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements - The outer edge of one diamond to the other is 19.25mm and 10mm wide at the widest point. Sits 5mm from the finger.

Metal - 18k white gold and platinum. Stamped.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.
