Antique Edwardian Solid 18ct Gold Ruby & Diamond Ring Hallmarked Chester 1902

This gorgeous antique ring was made over a century ago and dates from Victorian England. It is made out of solid 18 carat gold and set with two rubies and three diamonds. The rubies are a very vivid ruby pink tone. The ring measures approx. 6mm from top to bottom at the front. It weighs 2.3g and is hallmarked inside as 18 carat gold with a hallmark dating from 1900 from Chester, England. The assay office in Chester has since ceased to exist, adding to the rarity of this piece. The ring is currently UK Size N 1/2 USA size 6 1/2, which could easily be altered to a larger or smaller size by any jeweller.
