Pair of X-frame Red Lacquered Chinoiserie Stools

A pair of x-frame red lacquered Chinoiserie stools.

These stools have typical Chinoiserie designs of Chinese scenes with red lacquer and gilt decoration.

The caned seats are in good, original condition and have a gold tone to compliment the gilt decoration.

The x-frame has shaped slats to either side of the cane seat.

These stools could have loose cushions made and upholstered in a fabric to complement the decoration (probably best organised once purchased).

These stools are in very good condition and can go straight into a home.
