Description

A charming and unusual silver lidded preserve jar. The body is beautifully cut and of attractive design, with four sides and a removable silver lid. The lid has a steeple finial and spoon aperture.

A delightful piece, both decorative and practical.

Condition :- Very good with no chips or cracks. There is a small ripple to the edge of the lid commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable.

Maker :- Roberts & Dore.

Date :- Birmingham 1928.

Base dimensions :- 7 cms. x 7 cms.

Height :- 12 cms. (to top of finial).
