Antique Silver Jewellery Box 1926

This is a very good quality jewellery or trinket box in solid sterling silver.
 
Clearly hallmarked to the base with the Assay Office mark for Birmingham 1926 and the maker''s mark for Adie Brothers Ltd.
 
The top has an engine turned pattern with initialled cartouche - J? F?. The inside is clean and clear with a mirrored base. The lid fits tightly and the hinge is good.
 
The box has four feet and stands squarely on the surface.

In very good condition, this is a lovely example of a jewellery box.
