Pair of Antique Silver Half Pint Tankards

1920 - 1940
Description

This is an excellent, solid pair of sterling silver tankards, each holding half a pint.

Both are clearly hallmarked on the side with the Assay Office mark of Birmingham 1937 and the maker's mark of James Fenton & Co.

They are plain in style with a pedestal foot and a large handle. They stand squarely. There is an inscription on one side, and the other is plain, except for the hallmark.

They are in excellent condition.

Diameter: 7.5cm

Total weight: 360g.
