This is a lovely solid sterling silver bowl, clearly hallmarked for Chester 1895 with the maker''s mark of George Nathan & Ridley Hayes.
Other than the hammered finish on the inside, it is simple and plain, with neither decoration or inscription, making it an ideal dish for many purposes.
It stands squarely and is in excellent condition.
