Edwardian Silver Front Prayer Book Decorated with Reynolds Angels Hallmarked Birmingham 1908

A unique Edwardian silver front prayer book. A beautiful and charming piece which dates from 1908. It’s decorated on the solid silver front cover with Reynolds Angels just above the crisp clear hallmark.

Assayed in Birmingham 1908 the prayer book is approximately 4.5cm wide by 5.5cm in height and contains 700 pages. The spine and back cover are made from leather and the edges of the pages feature a gold gild which unsurprisingly is somewhat worn and faded.

A beautiful and charming little prayer book which would make a fantastic Christening or Confirmation present.

Condition: In good condition commensurate with age.
