George V Engraved Hallmarked Sterling Silver Cigarette Case by Joseph Gloster Ltd

Description

This is a George V hallmarked sterling silver cigarette case. It was assayed in Birmingham in 1935 and made by Joseph Gloster Ltd.

It has distinctive engraved scrolling acanthus leaf decoration to both sides, a gilded interior and monogramme with date.

The clasp works well and the case is in generally good condition.

It weighs 119g.
