This is a French mid C19th condiment dish. It was made by Emile Hugo of Rue Des Quatre-Fils, Paris some time between 1853-80. It is .950 standard solid silver.
It is in the Neo-Rococo style and has twin scrolling handles. It is raised on four supports.
There is a chip to the blue liner. There are some surface marks to the underside and there is some soldering where the supports join the base.
The silver weighs 166g and in total it is 631g.
