Description

A Victorian hallmarked silver engraved lady's bag or purse with chain. Hallmarked Birmingham 1891 by F J D & Co., a firm working in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter making small silver objects such as toast racks, vesta cases etc. The interior still retains its original lining, albeit slightly suffering the passing of time. One or two smalls dents to the body but nothing that detracts.
