Edwardian Hallmarked Silver Covered Hymn Book

1900 - 1920
Description

This is an Edwardian miniature hymn book. It has a hallmarked sterling silver cover, assayed in Birmingham in 1906/7, and was made by Green & Cadbury Ltd.

It has an image of Joshua Reynold's Angels to the cover.

The book itself was made by William Clowes & Sons Ltd, type music and general printers at Stamford St and Great Windmill St.

The cover is somewhat worn, with some small dents and so on. The condition of the book itself is also worn.

It weighs 29g in total and is 5.5cm tall.
