Antique Silver Playing Card Case 1938

1920 - 1940
Description

This is a lovely solid sterling silver miniature playing cards casket.

Clearly hallmarked on the front for Birmingham 1938 with the maker's mark of Charles S Green & Co Ltd.

It has a simple striped panel design, with a domed lid and shaped sides. There is a vacant cartouche on the front.

The interior is well gilded with two compartments separated by a simple bar.

Overall, in very good condition.

Dimensions:

Height: 4.2cm

Length: 4.8cm

Width: 3.6cm

Silver Weight: approx 40g
