Antique Silver Hester Bateman Serving Spoons 1788

Description

Excellent pair of solid sterling silver serving spoons by the highly regarded silversmith, Hester Batemen.

Bright cut in a ribbon design, these Old English Pattern spoons are lovely.

The hallmarks are on the reverse of the finials and are clearly for London 1788, during the resign of George 111.

The condition is very good, with some usage marks on the bowls, as one would expect.

Dimensions:

Length: 27cm

Weight: 116g in total.
