With lovely double claws holding the corners of the stone and ten "floating" bezel set old cut diamonds in the surround. A glamorous statement piece.
Cut - Cushion cut tanzanite and old cut diamonds.

Clarity - VS.
Carat - The tanzanite is 8.73 carat. Each of the ten diamonds is around 0.07 carat each, so an approximate total diamond weight of 0.70 carat.
Circa - 1930.
Size - R 1/2 (UK) or 8 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements - The tanzanite is 10.5mm by 13.5mm; the setting measures 16mm by 18.5mm
Metal - Platinum. Tested.
