Here we have a beautiful rare surviving George III Pine and Cherry box stool or low table c1800. As you can see the stool has super colour and patina. The single plank top is a delicious piece of burr and figured Cherry with the most wonderful colour and grain. The legs are slightly splayed and have through jointed construction. The drawer has handcut dovetail joints both front and rear. There is no worm hence the reason this piece has survived. The stool will make a fantastic lamp table or is strong enough to be still used for sitting. A super rare piece of country furniture in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 19 inches wide 12 deep and 24 high.
