Antique Silver Watch Chain & Fob, 1912

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique silver pocket watch chain and fob.

The longer chain measures 12.3" / 31.3 cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T bar is hallmarked although worn and difficult to read. Each of the links on the chain has the lion passant silver mark. The clasp is a later replacement although still antique.

The silver fob is hallmarked for Birmingham 1912 with the makers mark HB&S (Herbert Bushell & Co Ltd). The front of the fob has a vacant cartouche to the centre and the back of the fob is inscribed 'J. Clissett Aug 24 1912'.

The albert and fob are in nice condition with only light marks from use

Total weight 55g.
