Antique Silver Box, 1900, Cohen & Charles

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique sterling silver box, originally a cigarette box but could be used in any room.

The box measures 10cm wide, 9cm from back to front and approximately 5cm high. There are hallmarks on one end for Chester 1900, with a maker's mark for Cohen & Charles, trading from Holborn Circus in London.

There are a couple of shallow indentations to the top and a couple of small dings to the back, but overall the condition is good for a 114 year old piece.

The lid hinges open to reveal a gilded interior to the lid and a mahogany lined base.
