Description

A glorious late Art Deco ring, set with very high quality colourless diamonds. For a ring with so much detail, it is a a suprisingly versitile wear: a statement wedding band, an engagement ring or, of course, a ring that can stand alone as a fabulous dress ring. Really pretty filigree work to the side of the central "square;" the double groove to the band; the extra single cut diamonds around the main solitaire; the step-down baguette cuts: there is just so much detail here.

Cut - Transitiona cut in the centre and two baguette cuts either side and 12 single cut diamonds surrounding the central stone.

Colour - F; diamonds are colourless

Clarity - VS.

Carat - Approximately 0.80 carat in the centre. The baguette cuts are an estimated 0.06 each. The single cuts come to around 0.12. Total overall approximate diamond weight of 1.04 carat.

Condition - Some general wear consistent with age, but in good condition. Can be polished to look as new.

Circa - 1940.

Size - Currently P (UK) or 7 1/2 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements - The middle "square" measures 8.5mm by 8.5mm and sits 3.8mm from the finger.

Metal - Platinum. Tested.
