The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The maker's mark of James Deakin & Sons (John & William F Deakin) is also crisp and clear.
The rings are in excellent condition, initialled 'C' and 'R'.

The box may not be the original, as it seems too wide for the napkin rings. It is solid the gold coloured clasp shuts tightly. The box is showing some signs of wear to the sides and inside.
