19th Century Gilt Stool on Horn Castors

Description

This attractive ANTIQUE GILT STOOL retains its original GILT which, as one would expect from gilding of this age, has sympathetic wear.

The STOOL dates from circa 1860.

An unusual feature are the original BRASS CASTORS with HORN WHEELS.

The STOOL has a sprung seat and a cover which has been chosen to complement the old gilding.

Height: 16 inches (41 cm)

Width & Depth: 15.75 inches (40 cm)

The STOOL is sturdy and fit for purpose, either as seating or as a coffee table.
