Antique Silver-handled Page Turner Sampson Mordan & Co Ltd 1902

Description

This lovely simple sterling silver and ivory page turner (or paper knife) was made by well known silversmiths Sampson Mordan & Co and hallmarked for London 1902.

It is of plain form, with a full set of hallmarks on one side and partial on the other.

The ivory is in good condition, with no splits or cracks and the silver handle is firmly fixed.

It comes in its original box, stamped with 'W F Parkes & Son, Watchmakers & Jewellers, 40 Bank Street, Braintree'.

A lovely piece from these highly collectable silversmiths.
