19thc Victorian Set of Ivory Handled Silverplate Butter Knife, Pickle Fork and Stilton Scoop by Famous Maker Walker and Hall.

Description

Elegant 19th century Victorian very unusual set of silver plated implements with beautifully carved ivory handles carved with acanthus leaves under turret tops. It comprises a butter knife, stilton scoop and pickle fork, by famous makers Walker and Hall.

Superb quality, with fine engraving to the blades and ferules, and fitted into the original silk and velvet lined case.

There is no discolouration to the ivory. There is a very fine expected age hairline to the handle of the scoop and the fork, but no instability at all.

Sizes-knife 8 inches long, scoop 8 7/8 inches long, fork 7 3/8 inches long.

This is a very beautiful and useful set, in very good condition.
