Description

This gorgeous ring is centred with a 1.25 carat oval cut amethyst that has so much life it almost looks like electricity is running through it! Such an eye-catcher. The amethyst is set in white gold to emphasise the richness of the purple - the rest of the ring is 18k yellow gold. Fun, funky and unique. You'll never spot another one of these.

Cut - Amethyst is oval cut. The accent diamonds are single cuts.

Colour - Wonderful, luminescent and deep purple amethyst. The diamonds are too small to access properly but are bright, white and full of sparkle.

Clarity - No visible flaws to the amethyst, even when examined with a jeweller's loupe. The diamonds are totally eye-clean.

Carat - The amethyst is approximately 1.25 carat. The four diamonds are 0.05 carats each - 0.20 carat total.

Circa - 1900.

Condition Note - In fantastic condition. In it's long life this hardly appears to have been worn.

Ring Size - Current ring size is L (UK) or 5 1/2 (US). Complementary resizing is available, can go up or down in size.

Metal - Tests as 18k yellow gold.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.
