Antique Solid Sterling Silver Tea Caddy 1914

Description

This is a solid sterling silver tea caddy made by the silversmiths Deakin & Francis Ltd.

It is clearly hallmarked on the bottom, with the assay office mark for Birmingham 1914.

It is classically plain in form, with a ribbon design to both the top and bottom of the body of the caddy and around the top edge of the lid.

The lid has a partial hallmark on the side and fits securely to the caddy.

There are no inscriptions or initials.

Weight: 130g

Height: 8.5cm

Diameter: 6.5cm
