This is a lovely solid sterling silver basket made by the famous silversmiths, William Hutton & Sons Ltd.
It has a plain, octagonal bowl with pretty filigree decoration to the edges, featuring small leaves. The handle is firmly fixed and is also nicely finished. The pedestal base is plain and round.
The hallmarks are on the bottom of the bowl and are crisp and clear for Birmingham 1914.
