The Silver Cabinet has dated this piece to the 1910s.
It has a plain, octagonal bowl with pretty filigree decoration to the edges, featuring small leaves. The handle is firmly fixed and is also nicely finished. The pedestal base is plain and round.
The hallmarks are on the bottom of the bowl and are crisp and clear for Birmingham 1914.
