This is a lovely, pretty pair of sterling silver bud vases by the famous silversmith, William Comyns.
They are decorated with bows, swags and flowers, some of which stand proud of the vase in a repousse style.
The vases are weighted in the bases, to give them stability, and have green leather pads to prevent scratching any surfaces on which they are standing.
The rims are fluted and the insides gilded.
The hallmarks are below the upper rim and are clearly for London 1890.
These vases are in excellent condition and would make a pretty and practical gift.
