A superb quality silver sifter spoon by George Adams, Chawner & Co. The spoon is beautifully and intricately pierced to the bowl and the stem is elegantly shaped with foliate designs running the length. The spoon is fully hallmarked for London 1879 and with the makers mark. The spoon is in perfect condition with no monogram engraving. The spoon is in the original velvet and silk lined leather box, all in a burgundy colour and the whole was retailed by Watherston & Son of Pall Mall. This is a fine example of it''s type in perfect condition.
