Birmingham 1921 Solid English Hallmarked Silver Scent Bottle by A. And J. Zimmerman.

Description

Birmingham 1921 English hallmarked solid silver small oval scent bottle with delicate engine turned engraving to front and back, and vacant cartouche to one side. It would be suitable for a personal engraving if desired.

Made by silversmiths A. & J. Zimmerman of Birmingham, who specialised in small silver items.

The top is threaded, and still retains its original cork to lid interior.

Size 2 inches long by 1.25 inches wide.

In excellent original condition, with clear hallmarks and good weight, this is a very lovely object for the collector of small silver items, or scent bottles, and would make a great gift for Christening, Christmas or birthday.

Made by silversmiths A. & J. Zimmerman of Birmingham, who specialised in small silver items.
