A Magnificent Victorian Silver Gilt Soap Box.

A rare item of desirable Victorian silver. This magnificent example is a Rococo soap box with a fully gilded interior. The gauge of the silver is extremely good and this wonderful piece is hinged, with a vacant cartouche to the lid. The repousse body features foliar and floral decoration and both halves carry hallmarks.

A sought after and superior piece.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits. the gilding is fully intact.

Hallmarks :- Full set to base and matching part set to lid.
