London 1735, George II Pair of Solid Silver Table Spoons in Hanoverian Pattern, with Rat Tailed Bowls.

Description

London 1735, pair of English hallmarked solid silver table spoons in the Hanoverian rat-tail pattern, made early in the reign of George II.

With crisp rat-tailed ovoid bowls, and raised rib to stems, these are a lovely pair to collect and use.

Excellent spoons for serving vegetables, puddings, or for soup.

Size 8 inches long each, and 100 grams of weight total.

The hallmarks are mainly in very good condition for their age. Makers mark is not legible.

A great talking point to own and use spoons that are 275 years old!

English sterling silver is accurate to date due to the hallmarking system.

A wonderful pair of early Georgian serving spoons in very good condition, one bowl with a couple of tiny bumps only.
