Circa 1900 Wonderful German Solid Silver Pair of Salad Servers Made by Gebruder Reiner.

Description

With marks for the period 1899-1924, a German hallmarked solid silver pair of .800 fine salad servers with original pale gilt bowls (to protect the silver from corrosive dressings), made by Gebruder Reiner, and having excellent weight.

Size-8.5 inches long each.

Weight-150 grams.

Considering the value of just the scrap weight of this pair, this is a wonderful value, as silver prices continue to soar.

In very good condition, and with a nice scrolled double struck (on both sides) edge design to the stems, these are both very useful and lovely for serving a variety of foods.

Antique solid silver salad servers are not often found, and these are in very good condition.

Excellent for serving leaf or fruit salad. These would make an lovely gift.
