Set Antique English Fish Knives & Forks by Hammond Creake & Co. C.1890

Description

A fabulous and highly decorative set of Fish cutlery or flatware made from English silver plate with stunning Mother of Pearl handles with all of it's iridescent qualities.

Both the knives and forks are beautifully engraved to the front with highly decorative ferrules and terminals to the handles.

The knives all have a full mark for the Sheffield silversmith, Hammond Creake & Co., dating to around 1890 or 1900, late Victorian in era.

The set comes complete with it's original Oak presentation box. The set remains in superb condition. The box measures 9 3/4" x 7 3/4" x 2" tall. Each knife measures 8 3/4" in length and the fork, 7 1/2" .
