A Rare Chester Silver Edwardian Half Sovereign Case.

A rare Edwardian silver half sovereign case from the sought after Chester Assay Office. This charming piece has engraved ivy leaf decoration, a sprung and engine turned press dispenser and an attaching ring. The ring would be for attaching to a fob chain or chatelaine. These delightful collector's items are increasingly difficult to find and this is a particularly appealing example.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or breaks. The spring is strong.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. Matching part mark to the attaching ring.
