London 1904 Solid Silver Dish by William Comyns.

Description

London 1904 solid English hallmarked silver small dish in the shape of a miniature salver, for cards, pins, nuts or to hold a cut glass of whiskey or brandy on the gentleman's desk.

Made by the celebrated maker William Comyns in the beautiful classic shaped Chippendale style.

William Comyns made pieces for Tiffany's in New York and Paris, Shreve in San Franscisco, and Goldsmiths and Silversmiths in London.

Size 4.25 inches wide.

With very interesting family crest to centre, this antique is in very good condition, and would make an excellent gift.
