Birmingham 1971 Solid Silver Salver in Original Case, Made by Female Silversmith.

Description

Birmingham 1971 very good quality solid English hallmarked silver salver in original case, made to commemorate the silver wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip.

It is quite heavy at 290 grams, measures 8.25 inches in diameter, and has the royal coat of arms engraved to centre, and gadroon edging around the diameter.

It was made by female silversmith Hazel Hardy of Cambrian Hall, Birmingham.

It is presented in the lovely aubergine leather original case with a gilt royal crest, and similar colour lining.

All in mint condition.
