Description

Lovely large Sheffield 1907 Edwardian period English hallmarked antique solid silver sauceboat by James Dixon and Sons, famous makers.

A very elegant design, finely crafted in the Georgian style, with cast and applied beaded edge, cast high leaf and C scroll flower head embellished handle, as well as acanthus leaf topped cast scrolled feet.

Size-8 inches long by 3.75 inches wide by 4 inches high.

Weight- a very heavy 250 grams or over 8 troy ounces!

A fine quality and large sauce boat, and in very good antique condition, by very well regarded makers.

Wonderful for the dining table, or to give as a treasured gift.
