Description

Antique Victorian Mahogany Adjustable Piano Stool.

Dating from around 1880 this Victorian mahogany piano stool is fully height adjustable. The top has been recently upholstered in a dusty pink fabric with matching braid trim. The base has the original brass adjusting mechanism for height adjustment. It has a beautifully turned pedestal and stands on three scrolled splayed legs. At some point in its life this antique stool has been restored and repolished. It is a warm light mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
