It is currently upholstered in a neutral fabric but this could easily be replaced in a fabric of one's own choice since the seat is of the drop in design. The stool stands on four cabriole legs with pad feet and the walnut has aged to a dark shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
