An Interesting Collector's Silver Travelling Jewellery Holder/stand.

A most interesting item for the collector of unusual silver. This is thought to be a stand for hanging chains/bracelets rings etc. on overnight, when travelling. It probably was an accessory from a large dressing table box and would have been supported on the top of a mirror or similar fixing.

It is able to hook over a flat vertical surface, using the bottom plate for support and the row of hooks etc. would then be available for hanging a watch, rings or chains on during the night.

An interesting and unusual item of Edwardian silver for travelling.
