Description

Sheffield 1908 solid silver kidney shaped whiskey noggin or tot decanter label with chain. Noggins are the silver and glass go to bed sized servings in decanter jugs with hinged tops.

Made by famous makers John and William Deakin of James Deakin and sons.

This was purchased with another nearly identical label having a slightly longer chain and Whisky spelled without the "e." So, two labels are available if a matched pair is desired, sold separately.

See last photo for the two labels side by side, although this listing is for one label.

Antique whiskey noggin labels are very hard to find.

Size-2.5 inches long including chain, by 1 3/8 inches wide.

An unusual whiskey tot label in very good condition. Perfect on its own as a gift, or to make a complete set with a noggin.
