Description

French silver table snuff box; of oval form with a charming decorated scene to the hinged lid, depicting lovers in a woodland setting. The sides are of shell and scroll design and the interior is beautifully gilt. This substantial piece is of the highest quality and has Paris hallmarks, the maker is unidentified. Wonderful!
