Description

A magnificent George III silver salver. This superior example is of rounded form on three hoof feet. The body has a pie-crust rim with shell decoration. To the centre is a superb heraldic armorial. The gauge of the silver is very good and this wonderful piece is both collectable and useable.

It was assayed in London 1776.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable.

Maker :- Robert Jones I & John Schofield.

Diameter :- 25.25 cms. (to outside edges of rim shells).
